Hi, I'm Dr Perry.

Perry Morrison is a Senior Psychologist who has learned first-hand, after crashing 2.85 aeroplanes in his life, that you don’t know what you are capable of until a crisis tests you, and you can be surprised by your capacity to cope. This is true of life in general. It will inevitably test us and in the process tell us something about ourselves as well as changing us. Some of life’s tests are simply horrible and surviving them is a massive achievement. Others are much needed opportunities for growth and for engaging a new direction. Luckily, most of life’s issues are not plane crashes. And even those that are can still be a new beginning.

Perry is passionate about helping people to see different perspectives and find solutions. He helps you to engage in a meaningful process of discovering who you are, what matters to you, what is holding you back and what can change. As a bonus you may even encounter what most of us seek: peace, joy, purpose and meaning.

More from me...

Perry's reflection on perspective...

Only rare, catastrophic events happen very suddenly. For most of us, most of the time, we are not holding a scalpel or doing CPR. Nevertheless, we still need time and space and some guidance to see perspective. And with perspective we find solutions and pathways. Remember, for most people, most of the time, “here” is generally pretty OK. Even on a bleak, cold day, hot chocolate definitely helps. Simple pleasures – now- do matter. As a child I always looked forward to fish and chips on Friday. I still do (but my wife makes me eat fewer chips).

Outside of therapy...

“I invent things. Or more accurately, explore solutions looking for a problem.”

My therapy song...

“A 60s classic. Only those with their feet nailed to the floor won’t dance to this.”
