This is your chance to work in a progressive online therapy practice that thinks creatively about mental health. We’re looking for people to join our online administration team who can bring a sense of enthusiasm, calm, responsiveness, intuition and warmth to uphold the values of The Indigo Project. As the first point of contact for the practice, this role requires exceptional communication, administrative and organisational skills in order to coordinate and undertake a range of operational activities on a day to day basis. You will be able to support a wide range of people on their therapeutic journey. This role will allow you to demonstrate confidence in providing administrative support for our psychological and counselling services.

Our new Administration Assistant will need to:
- Work from home for an online telehealth practice. The role involves working from home accessing our email, client software and our internet-based phone software.
- Have access to a confidential, dedicated space and a laptop. It is essential that you have a strong and reliable internet (an unlimited internet plan is recommended).
- Provide a high level of customer and administrative service responding to customer enquiries, telephone and email support.
- Provide direct client support wherein you will play an active role in supporting clients along their therapy journey.
- Have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Provide general administrative services and operational support to the practice.
- Be able to work well under pressure, multi-task and have a strong attention to detail
- Be passionate about working with people in the mental health industry
- Be highly organised with effective time management skills
- Be able to use your initiative and manage priorities appropriately
- Be in charge of your own learning journey and willing to learn about what we do
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Possess high ethical standards with regard to confidential data
Skills and Experience Needed:
- At least 2 years working in a similar administrative role in a healthcare setting, preferably in a psychology practice
- Certificate III in health administration or equivalent experience with relevant health administration (desirable but not essential)
- The ability to maintain a high level of client connection.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Medicare in particular psychological services under the Better Access Initiative
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (including MS Excel)
- Experience working with Practice Management Software (Nookal desirable but not essential)
- High attention to detail with the ability to self-motivate and use initiative to achieve daily task goals
- Able to exercise a high level of confidentiality at all times

The Role:
Reporting to The Practice Manager, the role is an Administration Assistant position.
Responsibilities include therapy matchmaking, discussing suitable services and offerings based on individual needs; client registration, communicating with clients, third parties and practitioners via phone and email; diary management and completion of procedures and processes related to a psychology practice.
The Administration Assistant role is Part Time, 3 days per week (including Saturday’s).
Must have the right to work in Australia and hold a current visa with a minimum of 12 months remaining.
