Get to know Dr Rebecca
What makes me passionate about psychology is the transformative potential it holds. As a registered psychologist, I use evidence-based therapy to ensure a scientifically grounded approach. As an accredited psychotherapist, I then incorporate a deeper, more holistic methodology exploring the deeper, often unconscious layers of your experiences, tapping into the wisdom that resides within your struggles.
I love working with individuals ready to explore the core of their challenges, as well as those navigating life transitions or trauma. What excites me most is seeing you uncover your inner strength and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.
“If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s.”– Joseph Campbell
My therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative, blending heart-centred work with cutting-edge science. I deeply value authentic, genuine connection and strive to create an environment where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported.
As a trauma-informed therapist, ensuring a safe, non-judgmental space is my top priority. I honour the vulnerability and courage it takes to seek help, and I approach each person with the respect and reverence they deserve. Every client has their own unique experiences and journey which are central to our work together.
My focus goes beyond symptom relief, guiding you to develop increasing awareness, exploring and understanding yourself and the root of any psychological distress, and empowering you towards a life of authenticity and fulfilment.

Dr Rebecca’s Tip: Tune Into Your Body
To cultivate body awareness, find a comfortable space and take a moment to stand still. Remove any footwear for better grounding.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze, and take a few deep breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling gently. Allow your body to move as it wishes — whether that’s stillness or gentle movement.
Notice any sensations that arise and give yourself permission to express them freely. A sway, a stretch or stillness… what would it be like to allow yourself to make that a bit bigger?
Continue for a few minutes just noticing and allowing…
You might like to journal or sketch a quick drawing afterwards about what you noticed.
This practice helps you connect with your body’s signals, enhancing self-awareness and supporting your emotional well-being. Remember, there’s no right or wrong way to do this!
Outside The Therapy Room…
At home with my beloved partner and our lively blended family of five teenagers, I find grounding in regular meditation, yoga, and exercise. Long walks on the beach and immersing myself in nature — especially tending to the gardens on our rural property nestled in the Watagans National Park — bring me peace and deep fulfilment.
