Hi, I'm Dr Rebecca.
What draws me to psychology is the meaningful change that can happen when people are given space to slow down and understand themselves more clearly.
As a registered psychologist, I practise using evidence-based therapies to ensure a scientifically grounded and ethically sound approach. My training in psychotherapy also shapes a reflective and integrative style, where we gently explore patterns, relational dynamics, and the less visible layers of experience.
I work with adults navigating life transitions, trauma, relationship challenges, neurodiversity and longstanding emotional patterns. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, looking not only for practical strategies but for a deeper understanding of how their history, coping styles, and nervous system responses shape their present-day life.

More from me...
Tune into your body...
To cultivate body awareness, find a comfortable space and take a moment to stand still. Remove any footwear for better grounding.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze, and take a few deep breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling gently. Allow your body to move as it wishes — whether that’s stillness or gentle movement.
Notice any sensations that arise and give yourself permission to express them freely. A sway, a stretch or stillness… what would it be like to allow yourself to make that a bit bigger?
Continue for a few minutes just noticing and allowing…
You might like to journal or sketch a quick drawing afterwards about what you noticed.
This practice helps you connect with your body’s signals, enhancing self-awareness and supporting your emotional well-being. Remember, there’s no right or wrong way to do this!
Outside the therapy room...
At home with my beloved partner and our lively blended family of five teenagers, I find grounding in regular meditation, yoga, and exercise. Long walks on the beach and immersing myself in nature — especially tending to the gardens on our rural property nestled in the Watagans National Park — bring me peace and deep fulfilment.
