It’s an honour to witness the people-pleaser setting a boundary, the perfectionist allowing themselves to make a mistake, the burnt-out person finally reducing their demands, and the critic softening with compassion.

I have a particular interest in anxiety-based presentations, including OCD, as well as perfectionism, burn out and imposter syndrome. I love helping people understand and step out of cycles of overthinking and reassurance-seeking, loosen the grip of perfectionism, and learn that they can experience uncertainty and discomfort without having to immediately fix it.

I’m also passionate about working with the neurodivergent community and the challenges that can come with navigating a world that wasn’t designed with them in mind. I especially love working with those late-diagnosed, as well as those questioning or self-identifying as neurodivergent, and helping them figure out what tools, supports and spaces work for them.

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I want my clients to experience me as warm, down-to-earth, curious, sometimes playful and, above all, human. There’s room for laughter, honesty, vulnerability and the occasional bit of silliness – alongside the difficult and meaningful work of understanding ourselves and creating change.

I draw on Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and take an eclectic, individualised approach depending on what each person needs. I’m particularly passionate about helping people understand the emotional blueprints they’ve developed through their experiences, and how these can shape the way they see themselves, others and the world.

I hope to help clients understand and connect with their vulnerability, while developing a more compassionate voice to guide them through life’s challenges. Ultimately, I hope therapy helps clients feel more at home in themselves, develop greater self-understanding and compassion, and feel better equipped to navigate life with confidence and choice.

My own experiences with perfectionism, anxiety and burnout have shaped me deeply as a therapist. I’ve known what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, stuck and trapped in patterns that are difficult to change, even when you know they aren’t serving you.

These experiences have given me a genuine appreciation for how difficult change can be, and how important it is to feel truly understood rather than judged or “fixed.” They’ve also taught me the value of self-compassion, and of slowing down- even when it might feel uncomfortable or wrong.
