Hi, I'm Nicole.
I believe that meaningful change is always possible. No matter how overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected you might feel, things can get better with the right support. I love helping people understand themselves and the experiences that have shaped them, so they can make meaningful changes that improve their relationships, confidence, and wellbeing.
Often, the ways we think, feel, and cope with challenges developed for good reasons earlier in life. While these patterns may have once helped us, over time they can begin to hold us back. Together, we’ll explore where these patterns come from, what’s keeping you stuck, and work towards making changes that feel realistic.
I take a warm, collaborative approach and tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, so I take the time to get to know you, your goals, and work with you at a pace that feels right. At the same time, I believe therapy should be more than just having someone listen. I’ll support you to gain insight into yourself, and also help you put that insight into practice to create change in your life. I check in regularly to make sure therapy is meeting your needs, that we’re working towards your goals, and that you’re finding the process helpful.

More from me...
Nicole on life...
When I was 24 I was involved in an armed robbery. I was held up whilst working as a hotel receptionist – it was extremely traumatic. As a result of this incident, I sought counselling and vocational therapy which is where I discovered my passion for psychology.
The next year I enrolled in university as a mature-aged student with the intention to complete a three-year Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Six and a half years later I completed university with a Masters Degree. This taught me that so many great opportunities and experiences can be the result of a terrifying and traumatising situation. The robbery changed my life immeasurably for the better.
Outside of therapy...
When I’m not reading about Schema Therapy Modes I’m riding my horse. He’s a beautiful palomino called Junior.
