DOC LOVERS: EMBRACE SCREENING

Forget Netflix, come chill with us as we watch one of the most talked about films of this year – in our comfiest pants.

About

Love a good documentary? Join the club. Literally. Bringing together some of the most thought-provoking films and connecting like-minded folk is what this evening is all about.

To kick-start this series is a showing of Embrace, a 2016 Australian documentary film that looks at why poor body image has become a global epidemic and what we can do to kick these perceptions to the curb. Directed by Taryn Brumfitt, it’s a film that’ll leave you pondering your own perceptions long after you’ve left us for the night. Expect thought-provoking ideas, comfy mats and blankies, and great company.
