Connect with yourself and your body in the midst of a life full of responsibilities, obligations and worries. Here at The indigo project, we wanna take you deeper than a physical movement practice, to really explore and understand your internal landscape and teach you mindfulness on a whole new level.
A regular yoga practice has been shown to increase one's physical strength, flexibility and balance. However, the benefits of yoga extend well beyond that of the physical domain and we are gonna take you there. Our practices will teach you how to ride the highs and lows of life as you bend, stretch and journey your way through self-discovery on the mat. Soothe your nervous system, dissolve deeply rooted physical tension and holding patterns, learn about acceptance and empowerment and how to really let shit go. Build an introspective practice and shed some of the extra baggage you’ve been lugging around for too long.
Suitable for the seasoned yogi and beginners alike, come get down, dog!
Feeling frazzled? Our signature Restore class is the perfect way to unwind and decompress after a long week. This is a slow-paced gentle style of yoga designed to open up the body and soothe the nervous system. No need to get sweaty bending yourself into a pretzel, let’s just get some serious chill happening!
When you need to fill up your cup with a little more juice (or perhaps it’s reached G & T level), our YIN / TONIC class is where you need to be. Like a deep conversation with yourself, yin yoga incorporates long, juicy holds to tap into the body's fascial layer, where emotions are stored. Classes often incorporate mindful reduction of stress and provide a wonderful complement to a regular dynamic (yang) practice.
No better way to connect to the present than when you’re bent like a pretzel and made to focus on the breath, right? Yoga has that uncanny ability to flare up all the if’s, the but’s and get you acutely aware of the shit that comes up when things ain’t so cruisy. This inspired yoga practice is geared to dissolve physical tension and challenge habitual thoughts - getting you in the zone for a killer closing meditation.
